Description: Estimated Project Cost: $205,000 - $250,000 Contract Working Days: 30 This project consists of replacing the concrete channel and stop gates for the Sand Dunes Wastewater Facility. Contractor will remove existing reinforced concrete channel and install approximately 14 cubic yards of reinforced concrete with 1812 pounds of steel reinforcement. The contractor will install 9 new fiberglass composite stop gates with aluminum frames and stop gate covers in the reconstructed concrete channel, in addition to 250 square feet of mesh fibergrate and associated aluminum frames. The contractor will also install 53 lineal feet of 20” C900 PVC sewer force main with two 20” gate valves and two 20” tees that will connect to an existing 20” bypass pipe and connect to the existing flow splitter chamber. The installation of the pipe will require approximately 39 square yards of HMA patching associated with the trenching area. The construction will require bypass pumping to occur when necessary for construction to proceed while allowing headworks to function.
