Scope of Services
The Utilities Commission, City of New Smyrna Beach, Florida d/b/a New Smyrna Beach Utilities ("NSBU") is seeking proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants licensed pursuant to Chapter 473, of the Florida Statutes, to enter into a contractual agreement to provide AUDITING SERVICES.

Section 218.391 of the Florida Statutes establishes required procedures for NSBU to select an auditor to perform the financial audits required by Section 218.39, Florida Statutes. The statute requires NSBU establish an Auditor Selection Committee which formulates evaluation factors, publicly announces requests for proposals, provides necessary information to bidders, ranks at least three qualified firms, and recommends a preferred order of the qualified firms to the NSBU Commission for selection.
