Request for Proposals (RFP) – Design-Build Services for Kells (George) Park Fieldhouse

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

The Public Building Commission of Chicago (PBC) has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) pursuant to the requirements of the Public Building Commission Act (50 ILCS 20 et seq.) (the Act) for the following design-build project:

Kells (George) Park Fieldhouse
3201 W Chicago Avenue
Chicago, Illinois

The PBC may award design-build contract(s) for the Project in accordance with the requirements of the Public Building Commission Act (50 ILCS 20/et seq.). This will be a two-phase procurement process. This two-phase process will evaluate design-build entities based on qualifications, technical approach, and cost proposals. The Project will include site preparation, design, and construction of a new park fieldhouse.

PHASE I

Phase I – Pre-Submission Conference Activities:
A NON-Mandatory Pre-Submission Conference will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 1:30 PM at the Richard M. Daley Branch Library located at 733 N. Kedzie Avenue, in Chicago, Illinois. All interested parties are encouraged to attend.

Phase I – Site Visit Activities:
A NON-Mandatory Site Visit will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2025, immediately following the Pre-Submission Conference.
