OVERVIEW AND PROJECT INFORMATIONFollowing is a summary of information for this Project. Bidder is cautioned to refer to othersections of the Project Manual, Drawings and Addenda (Bid Documents) for further details.The City of Lakeway, hereafter called OWNER, is requesting Bids for furnishing all labor,materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals, and for performing all Work required forthe following:Project:Located at:CIP ID No.:Solicitation No.:BULTER /ROUGH HOLLOW PARKCITY OF LAKEWAY12215.00126-1001The work includes park improvements, hardscape, parking lot construction, playground areapreparation, post tension sports court, surfacing, and equipment, field sports equipmentinstallation, site finishings installation, restroom pad preparation, pavilion pad and footingpreparation, mountain bike park development, ninja course installation, drainageimprovements, and landscaping (planting and irrigation), all as detailed in the plans andspecifications.The following has been purchased directly by the Owner. Contractor will be responsible forthe installation of: site furnishings (benches, tables, trash receptacles, bike rack, bike repairstation), and sports field equipment.Equipment and installation of the solar pole lights, playground, ninja course, and pavilionhave been purchased by the Owner directly. Contractor is to prepare these areas by gradingand pavilion concrete pad, and footing preparation.For the restroom, GC will be responsible for pad prep, utilities, and final tie-in. ReferenceCorworth Restrooms “Client’s Scope of Work document.”Note the site is sensitive to erosion; sedimentation and erosion control is a very importantaspect across the site.Phase I and Phase II shall be constructed concurrently for the duration of the Project.Contractor shall keep all construction activities a minimum of 25 feet away fromon all sides of the LPG Tank Site Fence, located on Lot 30. Contractor is forbiddenfrom using the LPG Tank Site, also known as Lot 30, as a construction siteentrance.The Contractor shall cooperate and coordinate with the Project Manager in theevent the City elects to retain such services.2. SUBMISSION OF BIDSSealed Bids must be submitted to City of Lakeway, Department of Finance, 1102 LohmansCrossing Road, Lakeway, TX 78734.No electronic bids will be accepted.NOTE: Bids must either be received and time-stamped in the City of LakewayDepartment of Finance prior to the Due Date and Time. It is the responsibility ofthe Offeror to ensure that their Bid arrives at the reception desk at City ofLakeway, City Hall prior to the time and date indicated.Public Bid Opening UpdateThe City of Lakeway, Finance Department, will conduct an in-person bid opening.
