Anyone objecting to this purchase shall follow the procedures outlined below.1. Description of the commodity that USM is seeking to procure:(Service Only) Aerial Imagery Acquisition: High quality aerial and satellite images of theproject boundary, which include nearshore estuarine and marine aquatic ecosystems.2. What efforts were made by the Agency to determine that the proposed provider is theonly entity that can provide the commodity needed?L3 Harris Technologies is the sole reseller of Vantor products and services in the United States.Vantor owns and operates a constellation of WorldView 3 satellites and also offers archivalimagery available.3. What efforts were made to ensure the best possible price for the commodity wasobtained?The Gulf Coast Geospatial team conducted an extensive search for vendors capable of meetingthe timeframe for this Pensacola and Perdido Bay Estuary Program (PPBEP).4. Why is the commodity the only one that can meet the needs to the Agency?The project will consist of Maxar WorldView 3 or Legion 1-6 high resolution satellite imagedata collection for the NOAA Site.5.
