The project includes any required2RE-BID EXTERIOR BUILDING PAINTING & EXTERIOR STAIR REPLACEMENTAT CRM2026-012permitting, complying with all state, federal, county and local codes, regulations and standardsin construction of the project, especially in regard to the American with Disabilities Act,International Building codes, Local Codes, Manufacturing Recommendations and Life SafetyCodes reasonably required to complete the Scope of Work and meet the intent of the IFB.The Scope of Work listed under Item 1- Base Bid and extended under each subsequent Itemdescription assumes to include all labor, permits, material, equipment and inclusive servicesrequired to complete the project.Item 1: BASE BID - All work shall meet or exceed the specifications listed on the included plansand meet the most current ADA regulations. All services, labor, materials and equipment calledfor in accordance with said documents for the lump sum ofTotal Base Bid:$________________BID ADD ALTERNATEITEM 2: ALTERNATE NO. 1: Remove and dispose of window behind the exterior staircase andinterior cabinets that are below the window. Enlarge and frame out opening and install fixed,double windows with aluminum framing and general dimensions of 5’ h x 6’ w. Window frameand glass needs to meet all existing codes. A new primed steel lintel shall be installed forwindow opening. Windows should be Low-E, storm rated and suitable for marineenvironments. Framing should allow for window to be recessed in interior wall with 11 ¼”window stool. The section of wall under new window should be drywalled and painted tomatch existing interior walls including baseboard and quarter round wood trim. Contractor shallprovide CCPRC with cut sheets or design specifications for approval prior to installation.Alternate Bid:$__________________Item 2 – Bid Alternates shall be awarded based on prices and availability of fundsTOTAL ITEMS 1 & 2$__________________Apparent lowest responsible and responsive price offer shall be determined by the total of items 1 & 2.CCPRC may reject an offer as non-responsive if it is materially unbalanced as to prices for the basicrequirement. At a minimum, invoices shall contain the identity of the provider of theservices, the date of the services, a description of the services (schedule of values), and any applicable taxes.If the letter of authorization accompanying these terms and conditions allows the payment of"reimbursables", they shall be paid at Contractor's actual cost and subject to audit by CCPRC.Any unit prices, if accepted in the award of this contract, shall be used in establishing adjustment ofContract Price by additions to or deductions from work in accordance with applicable requirementsspecified in the General Conditions. Unit Prices listed shall include all costs, profit and overhead, and nofurther surcharges are to be added to any unit price item of work that may be ordered done.Bid Holding Time: The Undersigned hereby agrees that this bid may not be revoked or withdrawn aftertime set for opening of bids but shall remain open for acceptance for a period of SIXTY (60) daysfollowing such time.Contractor’s Certification/Technical Qualification Requirements: The Bidders shall submit a properlyexecuted Contractor's Certification/Qualification Questionnaire and any other information requestedby Owner to evaluate Bidder's responsibility.Contract Acceptance: In case the Undersigned be notified in writing by mail, email or delivery ofacceptance of this bid, he agrees to execute, within ten days from notice, a contract for the work for theabove-stated amount and at the same time to furnish and deliver to Owner a Performance Bond and aPayment Bond, each in the amount equal to 100 percent of the contract sum.Completion Time: The Undersigned agrees to commence actual physical work at the site, with anadequate force and equipment, within ten calendar days from the "Notice to Proceed." Contractor hasthirty (30) days to mobilize. Substantial Completion shall be reached within one hundred twenty days(120) days from the Notice to Proceed date.Rain Day: For rain delays, the Contractor shall be entitled to a one-day extension of time for each day inany given month that the actual rain days measured at the Charleston International Airport, or anotherwise mutually agreed upon location, exceed the NOAA average monthly rainfall for the month inCharleston, South Carolina. In order to qualify as a rain day, there must be at least one-hundredth of aninch precipitation on the date in question. The average number of days in each month receiving one-hundredth of an inch or more of rain in Charleston, South Carolina, according to NOAA are as follows:Jan Feb March April May June July Aug Sept Oct Nov Dec10 766914 14 17 11 8610The rain gauge at the Charleston International Airport, or an otherwise mutually agreed upon location,shall be used as the determinate for daily rain measurement. The Contractor shall submit any requestfor rain days by the tenth day of the following month.
