Description: The County of Rockingham, (the County) a political subdivision of the State of Virginia is seeking proposals from Design Build firms authorized to do business in the State of Virginia to design and build the Singers Glenn Community Center.  The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals from experienced Design-Build General Contractors for the planning, design, and construction of a new Community Center. The Owner seeks a qualified partner capable of providing comprehensive design, preconstruction, construction, and commissioning services under a single contract to deliver a high-quality facility that meets the needs of the community while maintaining budget and schedule objectives. The qualified contractors approved to submit a proposal include Harman Construction, Harrisonburg Construction, Lantz Construction, LCW Construction, and North River Builders. A mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held at the County Administration Building at 20 East Gay Street, Harrisonburg, VA 22802 on Wednesday, September 9 th at 10:30am.
