PETERS TOWNSHIP
WASHINGTON COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIAThe Peters Township Council is seeking bids for the rehabilitation of existing storm sewer systems via cured-in-place pipe lining. The project includes Cured-in-Place pipe (CIPP) lining of approximately 340 feet of 15-inch diameter CMP, 490 feet of 24-inch diameter CMP, and 145 feet of 24-inch diameter SLCPP storm sewers. Additional work will include pre- & post-installation inspection, removal of existing obstructions via internal robotic cutting, point repairs by open cut excavation that are required to facilitate lining, bypassing operations if required, traffic control, and other items incidental to the project.
Bid specifications are available at the Peters Township Municipal Building, 610 East McMurray Road, McMurray, PA 15317. Sealed proposals must be submitted to the Township Manager before 11:00 A.M. prevailing time Monday, July 6, 2026, at which time they will be opened and read in Council Chambers. Proposals shall be delivered in a sealed envelope and clearly marked “2026 Storm Sewer Rehabilitation by CIPP Lining Method”.
Bidding Documents may be purchased for $60.00 per set. No refund will be made for the return of any documents. Bids shall only be considered valid if bidder is included on the official plan holder list. Only the purchase of the plans and specifications from the Township will place purchaser on the official plan holder list. Bid Security in the amount of 10% is required. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages must be paid on this project. Proposals to receive consideration must be accompanied by an executed Non Collusion Affidavit in the form provided by Peters Township.
Peters Township reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, or any part thereof, for any reason, and also reserves the right to waive any informality therein.
