Project DescriptionDemolish T-building, remove all foundations, and site utilities including fiber optics. Leave the site as green space suitablefor future athletic fields with positive drainage away from adjacent structures, slightly crowned, no ponding, seeded, andeasily maintainable. T-building parking lots and site lighting to remain. There is a physical connection and sharedemergency generator to the Engineering building that require reconstruction. Refer to attached Verdantas demolition costdetail for Program of Requirements (POR).B. Scope of ServicesProspective AE firms should familiarize themselves with both the demolition and pre-demolition loan process described athttps://rfp.ohiohighered.org/. Hazardous material survey, boundary survey, appraisal, and pre-demolition costs estimateare performed by others. Program of requirements is determined by the attached Verdantas cost estimate. GeneralContracting bid packages are required to be advertised no later than 30 days after loan award notification. Notification isexpected June 8th, 2026. Bid packages are required to be complete and ready for advertisement on or before 30 daysafter that date.The selected A/E, as a portion of its required Scope of Services and prior to submitting its proposals, will discuss andclarify with the Owner and/or the Contracting Authority, the cost breakdown of the A/E Agreement detailed costcomponents to address the Owner’s project requirements. Participate in the Encouraging Diversity, Growth & Equity(EDGE) Program is encouraged but not required by the agreement.As required by the Agreement, and as properly authorized, provide the following categories of services: ProgramVerification, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Document Preparation, Bid and Award Support,Conformed Documents, Construction Administration, Post-Construction, and Additional Services of all types.Refer to the Ohio Facilities Construction Manual for additional information about the type and extent of services requiredfor each.
