Description: The Town of Agawam is requesting quotes from a qualified contractor to remove and replace the existing 5-ton rooftop heating and cooling unit at the Agawam Municipal Golf Course, located at 128 Southwick Street, Feeding Hills, MA 01001. The project will consist of:  Removal of existing unit, supply and installation of new unit, testing and commissioning, coordination and scheduling, and permits and compliance. All of which is described in the attached procurement package. Contract Documents may be obtained at through the Office of Procurement, 36 Main Street, Agawam, MA, beginning May 14, 2025. All contractors should submit pricing using the Form for Quote. The contractor must complete the non-collusion and tax-compliance form. The contract will be awarded to the most responsive contractor with the lowest quote. The person awarded the contract will be required to sign the Town’s Owner Contractor Agreement. A mandatory Pre-bid Conference/site inspection will be held at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at the site, 128 Southwick Street Agawam, MA  01001.   Contractors may meet at the front entrance. Questions concerning this RFQ should be directed, in writing, to Jennifer Bonfiglio, Chief Procurement Officer no later than the end of the business day May 22, 2025 Proposals are subject to M.G.L. c.149 sec.44A(2)(A) and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 §§26 to 27H inclusive.
