Overview

Summary

Purpose of Proposal: The Passaic Public School District is seeking proposals from qualified restorative justice coaches, with a focus implementation of practices, job-embedded coaching, and facilitating restorative justice processes with youth.

Background

Approximately 60 PHS staff members have received an intensive 5-day training on restorative justice practices. We are now looking for a coach to work with staff to implement practices, offering workshops and job-embedded coaching. In addition, the restorative justice coach will work directly with students, facilitating community circles and restorative justice process to address conflict and underlying causes of trauma.
