Description: Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Board of Carroll Township Trustees at the Ottawa County Engineer’s Office 8247 W State Route #163, Oak Harbor, Ohio, until 11:00 o’clock A.M., local time, April 15, 2026 at which time bids will be opened for the BODI ROAD TR #234 INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AT STATE ROUTE #2 as per specifications and plans prepared by the County Engineer. Only pre-qualified contractors are eligible to submit bids for this project.  Pre-qualification status must be in force at the time of bid, at the time of award, and through the life of the construction contract. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project shall follow the 2 CFR Part 184 Guidelines regarding BUY AMERICA PREFERENCES FOR INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS, agree to 2 CFR Part 175 AWARD TERM FOR TRAFFICKING IN PERSONS, and follow the guidance in FHWA 1273. This project falls under the federal requirements of the Davis-Bacon Act for prevailing wages.  Contractor compliance with the Federal and State of Ohio Equal Employment Opportunity Requirements shall be required. LEGAL NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Board of Carroll Township Trustees at the

Ottawa County Engineer’s Office 8247 W State Route #163, Oak Harbor, Ohio, until 11:00 o’clock A.M.,

local time, April 15, 2026 at which time bids will be opened for the BODI ROAD TR #234

INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AT STATE ROUTE #2 as per specifications and

plans prepared by the County Engineer.

Bids must be sealed and endorsed on the outside of the envelope with the name of the bidder and the project

bid upon. Bids received after the scheduled bid opening date and time will neither be read nor considered.

No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 60 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of

bids.

The contract documents and specifications are on file at the office of the Ottawa County Engineer, 8247

West State Route #163, Oak Harbor, Ohio 43449. The documents may be obtained at Ottawa County

Engineer’s web site at

https://www.co.ottawa.oh.us/Bids.aspx?CatID=19&txtSort=Category&showAllBids=&Status=open, or by

contacting the Ottawa County Engineers Office at (419) 734-6777 and submitting payment as may be

required.

In accordance with Ohio Revised Code Section 307.87 this shall serve as notification that this notice is

available on The Ottawa County Engineer’s project page on the World Wide Web by logging onto

https://www.co.ottawa.oh.us/Bids.aspx?CatID=19&txtSort=Category&showAllBids=&Status=open

and locating this project within the list.

Each bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty and must meet all requirements of Section 153.54 of

the Ohio Revised Code and the Instructions to Bidders.

Only pre-qualified contractors are eligible to submit bids for this project. Pre-qualification status must be

in force at the time of bid, at the time of award, and through the life of the construction contract.

All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project shall follow the 2 CFR Part 184 Guidelines

irregularities in any bid(s), and to award the contract to the lowest and best bidder in accordance with Section

307.86 of the Ohio Revised Code as determined by the Board of Carroll Township Trustees.
