Scope of Work:

Work is to be performed in Building D at Pleasant Valley Elementary School. Remove and replace all existing asbestos-containing fire dampers protecting openings in rated wall or ceiling assemblies, such as Multi-Purpose Room ceilings, occupancy walls, etc. The remaining asbestos-containing fire dampers will be removed, and duct systems will be repaired where they are not protecting fire-rated assemblies.

Sealed bids for the Replacement of Asbestos Fire Damper at Pleasant Valley Elementary School will be received by the Washoe County School District’s (WCSD) Purchasing Department located at the Brown Center 14101 Old Virginia Road, Room #0, Reno, NV 89521, until 2:00 p.m., (Local Time) on February 12, 2026. The bids will be opened publicly via a TEAMS Meeting at 2:30 pm (local time).
