Notice to ContractorsCity of Albany, OregonInvitation to BidCategory of Bid: ConstructionEngineer’s Estimate: $520,000Bids due at 2:00 p.m., (Pacific Time), Tuesday, April 21, 2026The City of Albany hereby extends an invitation to submit bids for:WL-26-01, 6th Avenue and Montgomery Street Water Line: This project includes construction ofapproximately 2,000 linear feet of 6-inch Ductile Iron waterline, abandonment of approximately1,600 linear feet of existing water line, and related appurtenances.Bids shall be submitted to Diane Murzynski in the Finance Department, atprocurement@albanyoregon.gov and must be received not later than 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April21, 2026, or any extension of the time made by addendum. Bids will be considered time-stampedand received by the City when received in the City’s email repository inbox. The email subject lineshall include the project number and name as follows: WL-26-01, 6th Avenue and MontgomeryStreet Water Line. The body of the email should plainly identify (1) the project name, (2) the bidopening time and date, (3) the bidder’s name, and (4) the contractor’s license number (per ORS701). Immediately following the filing deadline, the bids will be opened and publicly read using avirtual hosted meeting, https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/623409989. Interested parties maydial in using their phones (1-571-317-3122, access code 623-409-989). Bid totals will be postedon the City’s website at https://albanyoregon.gov/bids.Contract bid documents may be downloaded from the City of Albany website athttps://albanyoregon.gov/bids. It is imperative those who download the contract bid documentscheck the website regularly for addenda, clarifications, and other pertinent notifications. All whoare known by the City of Albany to have received a complete set of the contract bid documentswill receive notification when additional items are posted. Please emailpw.quotes@albanyoregon.gov to be added to the Plan Holder’s list.Each bidder must have access to a current set of City of Albany Standard ConstructionSpecifications, which can be found on the City’s website athttps://www.albanyoregon.gov/standard-construction-specifications.
