REQUEST FOR FORMAL WRITTEN PROPOSALS FOR PURCHASE OF 2026 CHEMICALS FOR THE SAINT PETER WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITY

The City of Saint Peter, Department of Public Works, Wastewater Utility is requesting formal written proposals for guaranteed pricing for the purchase of Calcium Oxide Pebble Quick Lime - ¾ inch in the 2026 calendar year:

Currently, Saint Peter receives lime deliveries at 25 tons per load. Storage is an indoor silo, in which the lime is transferred. 25 tons is the amount of lime needed per delivery to refill the storage silo. Saint Peter currently uses 125 tons of lime per year.

Please provide for 2026 annual pricing for the following:

1.  Cost of ¾ inch calcium Oxide pebble quick lime – 25 ton per load

2. Cost of freight

3. Fuel charges or other costs not identified.

Lump Sum per ton delivered and stored. Lump Sum $___________________per ton.

When pricing, please be informed the city will make every attempt to provide adequate in advance notice when scheduling deliveries.
