The City of Aurora invites you to bid on the corrosion protection and painting services of the steel structures located above the Aurora Police Department (APD) and Training and Support Building (TAS). Background

The Aurora Police Department/TAS Building, constructed in the late 2000s, features steel structures installed above the APD and TAS building to provide coverage and protection for HVAC and other rooftop units. This project involves surface preparation and painting of the metal structure to protect it from corrosion, enhance its appearance, and extend its lifespan. Over time, prolonged exposure to the elements has caused the steel structure to develop corrosion and visible rust in several areas.
