DescriptionThe purpose of this acquisition is to obtain original equipment manufacturer (OEM) service and maintenance support for the D2 PHASER and the Bruker S2 PUMA analytical systems located at the Spokane Mining Research Laboratory. The Spokane Mining Research Laboratory supports the Mining Program by conducting applied research to reduce occupational hazards and improve miner health and safety through defensible laboratory measurements and technical findings. As part of this work, the laboratory relies on the D2 PHASER (XRD) and S2 PUMA (XRF) to generate mineralogical and elemental composition data that directly support ongoing and future Mining Program research activities, technical reports, and data products.
