TTY: 711 or 1.800.627.3529 (MN Relay Service for persons with speech or hearing disabilities)Email: vadym.kerestesh@state.mn.usNotes:Date This Solicitation Was Posted: 05/18/26 at 8:50amThe Minnesota State Patrol (“MSP”) is requesting proposals from Responders that will provide health, wellness, and fitness training services during MSP’s training academies which are held at Camp Ripley, Minnesota. Commencing in 2027, MSP anticipates up to two (2) academies may be held per year. The Contractor will conduct an introductory health, wellness, and fitness training class during the onset of each academy as determined by MSP scheduling needs. The class content must address overall personal wellness, nutrition, proper exercise, and training instruction on proper stretching, aerobics, anaerobics, and strength training. Additionally, the Contractor will conduct daily health, wellness, and fitness training on weekdays during each academy subject to MSP scheduling needs.
In addition to conducting the aforementioned training sessions, the Contractor will provide assistance to academy staff with daily calisthenics training up to a few times during the first week of each academy as well as collaborate with and assist the Academy’s physical therapy contractor with cadet injuries to identify each cadet’s physical limitations.
The awarded Contractor will endeavor to assign a relatively equal ratio of male and female instructors during the contract period and each instructor provided shall possess training and experience in one of more of the following subject areas: health and wellness, personal training, group training, strength and conditional, kinesiology, training in a bona fide fitness environment (e.g., YMCA, LAFitness, Lifetime Fitness, etc.).
