The North Scott Community School District will be accepting bids for a kitchen exhaust hood

and all required components at the Regional Innovation Center (2205 South 1st Street,

Eldridge, Iowa 52748): Room 163 on the North Wall

Required Walkthrough Date: March 26th, 2026, 9:00 am CST at 2205 South 1st Street,

Eldridge, Iowa 52748

Project Details

Supply and install a Kitchen exhaust hood:

Supply and install duct from hood to exhaust fan

Supply and install exhaust fan with curb

Supply and install duct to make up air fan

Supply and install make up air fan with curb

Supply and install 12’ stainless steel kitchen hood with LED lights

Supply and install fire suppression system in hood

Supply and install stainless steel back splash

Supply and install gas pipe to owner supplies equipment

Supply and install electrical to owner supplied equipment

Gas pipe to be connected to emergency shut off

Connect system to the existing fire alarm in building and room

All roof penetrations to be by contractor including roof seal

Supply and install electric to hood, exhaust and make up air fans

Reroute any existing items as necessary for the installation.

Owner Supplied Equipment:

●​ Double deck Convection oven - 240v 1ph 50 amp (2)

●​ 2 - Natural gas fryer 115v needed

●​ 1 - 48” natural gas flat top griddle 115v needed

Bid will include:

●​ All insurance

●​ Labor

●​ Materials

●​ Overhead and profit

●​ Permits (state is the jurisdiction)

●​ Inspections

●​ All items to complete the work for a functioning system

●​ Comply with all Local, state, and federal codes.

Bids will be broken down/detailed as follows:

●​ Cost of Hood including:

○​ all installation

○​ Duct

○​ Fire protection

○​ Lights

○​ Exhaust fan

○​ Make-up air fan.

●​ Electrical, all electrical to complete the project

●​ Plumbing, all plumbing to complete the project
