The City of San Carlos is seeking a qualified individual or group for Event Planning Services for the City’s Centennial Celebration scheduled for May 16-18, 2025. The successful proposer will be the primary “hands on” person or firm responsible for successfully managing sponsorships and food vendors for the Event. San Carlos Parks and Recreation Department Staff will provide direction and secondary support. Cost estimate for the service should not exceed an average of 20 hours a week for up to five months. All proposals should include as a minimum the information outlined in Scope of Services.
If a Proposer has any questions regarding any part of this RFP, or finds discrepancies in or omissions from this RFP, the proposer shall submit a written request via email by 5:00 p.m. PST Tuesday, January 7, 2025, addressed to Tyler Muela, Recreation Manager at: tmuela@cityofsancarlos.org . Questions received after this date and time may not be answered. Q&A responses will be posted on this page by Thursday, January 9.
Please submit an electronic copy of the proposal signed by the firm’s authorized agent by email to Tyler Muela, Recreation Manager, ( tmuela@cityofsancarlos.org ) with the subject, “RFP – Centennial Hometown Days Vendor/Sponsor Coordination” no later than Monday, January 13, 2025 at 4:00 p.m.
The proposal must be received before the specified time. Late proposals will not be considered.
