TOWNSHIP OF WEST WINDSORMERCER COUNTY, NEW JERSEYNotice is hereby given that sealed proposals addressedto the Business Administrator will be receivedon or beforeTuesday, June 30th, 2026, at 2:30 pm, prevailing time, at which time they will be opened and read at the WestWindsor Township Municipal Building, Room A located in the Municipal Complex, 271 Clarksville Road,Princeton Junction, New Jersey for the work described below. Bid packages submitted prior to the day of the bidopening shall be submitted to the Administration Department in the Municipa l Complex. The Townshipencourages prospective bidders to submit their sealed proposals prior to Tuesday, June 30th, 2026, at 2:30 pm viacertified mail or overnight delivery along with requiring a signature. West Windsor is not responsible for bidswhich are sent for delivery and not received by a Township employee. At conclusion of the public bid openingand after review from Municipal personnel, the bid results along with the pertinent documents of the apparentthree low bid submissions will be scanned and posted on the Municipal Website within 48 hours,www.westwindsornj.org.Specifications, plans and bid documents will be available on or after Tuesday, May 26th, 2026, at 10:00 am, andmay be examined from the Administration Department located in the West Windsor Township MunicipalBuilding during the hours of 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday excluding holidays or obtained upona non-refundable deposit of $50.00 per set. The only acceptable methods of payment are cash or a physical checkand/or moneyorder. Checkshall be made payable to West Windsor Township.Scanned checks are not acceptable.Mailed checks must include a request for documents with the name of the requested solicitation, as well as theCompany Name, Mailing Address, Telephone & Facsimile Numbers as well as Contact Person’s Name & EmailAddress. A FedEx number must be provided in order for West Windsor to ship the documents. Cash paymentsmust be submitted in the exact amount.Bids must be submitted on the prescribed form, in a sealed envelope marked:Bid ProposalFY’ 2023 ANNUAL ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROGRAMThe work under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, material and equipment necessary or required tocomplete all work set forth in the contract documents.Quantities include but are not limited to approximately 16 UNIT Tree Removal, 11 UNIT Reset ManholeFrame and Cover, 3,000 SY Concrete Sidewalk, 1,200 SY Concrete Driveway Reinforced, 5,250 LFConcrete Vertical Curb, 750 LF Belgium Block Curb, 50,000 Pavement Milling, 6,500 TON HMASurface Course, 8000 GAL Tack Coat, 400 TON HMA Leveling Course signage, striping, and otherincidental construction including restoration.A bid deposit in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond made payable to the Township of WestWindsor in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, but not to exceed $20,000.00, mustaccompany each proposal as a security, which may be forfeited and retained by the Township in lieu of its otherlegal remedies,if a successful bidder's proposal is accepted bythe Townshipandhe shall fail to execute andreturnto the Township the required contract and/or bonds within ten (10) days after delivery of the prepared contractand/or bond form to him by the Township.The Township Council reserves the right to reject all proposals in whole or in part or to waive minorinformalities as may be permitted by law.Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, C. 127 and N.J.S.A. 10:5 -31 et seq. andN.J.A.C. 17:27.Marlena SchmidBusiness AdministratorWest Windsor TownshipPosted: May 26, 2026
