Project Description: Phase III of the Main Street WTP Filter Rehabilitation & Upgrade includes select demolition of obsolete conduit and wiring, instrumentation and controls, process valves and flow meters, existing underdrain, and filter media; furnishing and installing a new underdrain system compatible with air/water distribution; placing specified media; installing new process valves with actuators, turbidity meters, and a backwash blower with associated piping, foundations, and miscellaneous civil/site repairs; replacing power/conduit and integrating PLC/HMI/SCADA, alarms, and interlocks; maintaining plant operations via filter-by-filter sequencing, temporary isolation, and startup-to-waste; executing QA/QC, testing, and commissioning (underdrain distribution, valve stroke, blower performance, turbidity calibration, and filter run/backwash verification); delivering submittals, as-builts, O&M manuals, and training; and complying with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, with a minimum one-year warranty on installed equipment.
