CompDrug is a community-based organization dedicated to addressing addiction and other mental health disorders through the development and delivery of evidence-based prevention, treatment, recovery, and wellness services.
As part of its Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) program, CompDrug utilizes medication in conjunction with counseling to provide a patient-centered approach to the treatment of substance use disorders. CompDrug has invested in specialized automated Methadone dispensing machines that require Methadone 10mg/mL to be supplied exclusively in 4-liter bottles.
The availability of this medication in the required 4-liter bottle format is critical to the continued operation and success of CompDrug’s substance abuse treatment program and its ability to serve patients safely and effectively.
Ohio Pharmacy Services currently supplies an average of 150 bottles per month to CompDrug.
