LEGAL NOTICE – BIDSThe Village of Woodridge will be accepting sealed bids for the item listed below at the Woodridge VillageHall, Five Plaza Drive, Woodridge, until Thursday, May 7, 2026, at the time shown below, at which timethey will be opened and publicly read aloud.Contract #Bid #26-00092-00-RSBid Item2026 MFT Resurfacing ProjectBid Opening11:00 AMDigital bidding documents are available via email request directed to Matt Pocius of the Village of WoodridgePublic Works Department at mpocius@woodridgeil.gov along with any questions with the biddingdocuments. Questions are due by 11:00AM on Thursday, April 30, 2026.A Bid Deposit of 5% of the bid amount is required with the bid submittal and is to be in the form of a bidbond, certified check or bank cashier’s check. The successful bidder will be required to furnish to theVillage and pay for a satisfactory performance bond in the full amount of the contract.In accordance with Section 102.01 of IDOT’s Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction,the prospective bidder in evidence of competence shall furnish to the Village as a prerequisite to therelease of proposal forms by the Village a certified or photo static copy of the “Certificate of Eligibility”issued by the Illinois Department of Transportation.The Village of Woodridge reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities, and toaccept any bid which is deemed to be in the best interest of the Village of WoodridgeIn accordance with the law and the provisions of 820 ILCS 130/0.01 et seq., entitled "an Act regulatingwages of laborers, mechanics, and other workers employed in any public works by the state, county, cityor any public body or any political subdivision or by anyone under contract for public works”, not less thanthe prevailing rate of wages shall be paid to all laborers, workmen and mechanics performing work underthis contract.The Village of Woodridge does not discriminate on the basis of disability in the admission or access to,treatment or employment in, its services, programs, or activities. Upon request, accommodation will beprovided to allow individuals with disabilities to participate in all Village of Woodridge services, programs,and activities.
