NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The Town Board of the Town of Chester, Warren County, NY, does hereby invite sealed bids for abrasive road aggregate (sand or equivalent) meeting State specifications for highways. Bidders must include proof of current and valid mining permit with their bid and Operator or Facility must be certified by MSHA. Bidders must submit a Non-Collusive bidding certificate which may be obtained from the Town Clerk.
All bids shall be expressed in cubic yards. All bids shall remain open for Town consideration and possible acceptance for a period of 150 days. All bids must be in a sealed envelope marked "Sand Bid." Bids will be received by the Town Clerk, 6307 State Route 9, PO Box 467, Chestertown, NY 12817, until Monday, February 10, 2025 at 2:00 pm. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Town Clerk’s Office on Monday, February 10, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the Town of Chester Municipal Center.
The Town Board of the Town of Chester reserves the right to reject any or all bids offered.
