Description: The Carteret County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) is requesting proposals for prevention and early intervention programs serving delinquent and at-risk youth for State Fiscal Year 2026–2027, beginning July 1, 2026. The JCPC expects to receive $208,110 from the N.C. Department of Public Safety, Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. A 30% match is required. Proposals are accepted beginning December 5, 2025, and are due by 5 p.m. on Monday, February 16, 2026. Programs considered for funding include mentoring, family skill building, interpersonal skill building, vocational training, restitution/community service, Teen Court, home-based family counseling, substance abuse counseling, and juvenile structured day services.
