Burke County Finance until 2:00 PM local time on December 19th, 2025, at the BurkeCounty Finance Office, 200 Avery Avenue, Morganton, NC 28655, at which time the Bids receivedwill be publicly opened and read. Late bids will not be accepted.Burke County is soliciting bids from qualified firms to furnish, deliver and install furniture as outlinedin this solicitation.Copies of the solicitation may be obtained from the location listed below:1. It is the bidder’s responsibility to periodically check the County’swebsite until the posted Bid Deadline to obtain any issued addenda.No oral statements, explanations, or commitments by anyone shall be of effect unlessincorporated in the written addenda. Receipt of Addenda shall be acknowledged by theBidder on Appendix C – Addendum Form.3 INSTRUCTIONS3.1 COMMUNICATIONSAll communications, any modifications, clarifications, amendments, questions, responsesor any other matters related to the Invitation for Bid (RFP) must be made only through theProcurement Contact noted on the cover of this RFP. A violation of this provision is causefor the County to reject a Company’s bid. No contact regarding this document with otherCounty employees is permitted and may be grounds for disqualification.3.2 BIDDERS ACKNOWLEDGEMENTThe Bid will remain subject to acceptance for 90 days after the Bid Opening, or for suchlonger period of time that Bidder may agree to in writing upon request of Owner.3.3 DUPLICATE BIDSNo more than one (1) bid from any Bidder will be considered by the County. In the eventmultiple bids are submitted in violation of this provision, the County will have the right todetermine which bid will be considered, or at its sole option, reject all such multiple bids.3.4 BID SIGNATURESAn authorized company official must sign Bids. Each signature represents bindingcommitment upon the Bidder to provide the goods and/or services offered to the Countyif the Bidder is determined to be the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder.3.5 BIDDERS RESPONSIBILITIESThe Bidder must be capable, either as a firm or a team, of providing all parts as describedherein. Exclusion of any parts or services for this Bid may serve as cause for rejection.The successful Bidder will be responsible for all work in this solicitation whether they areprovided or performed by the successful Bidder or subbidder(s).
