INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB)ELEVATOR SERVICE & MAINTENANCEThe Medford Housing Authority (MHA), the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from licensedelevator contractors for a multi-year contract to service and maintain six (6) MHA elevators at three(3) sites in the City of Medford.The estimated cost is $200,000.00. Contract shall be for three (3) years.The IFB may be obtained by contacting Gabriel Ciccariello, Director of Modernization & Procurementat gciccariello@medfordhousing.org.Bids are subject to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 ยงยง26 to 27H inclusive and federalwage rates established by the Davis Bacon Wage Act and the Secretary of Labor, under the provisionsof the Code of Federal Regulations, as amended.This IFB is subject to the provisions of M.G.L. c.30B sec.5. and to Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of1964, Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, and the Medford HousingAuthority is an equal opportunity employer. Section 3 Business Concerns are encouraged to respondto the IFB.The Award is subject to HUD requirements and guidelines. A briefing and site inspection isscheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 121 Riverside Avenue in Medford,MA.Sealed responses to this IFB can be mailed or dropped off to Medford Housing Authority, Attn:Gabriel Ciccariello, 121 Riverside Avenue, Medford, MA, 02155, and must be submitted no laterthan 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 3, 2026.Questions must be sent in writing to Gabriel Ciccariello at gciccariello@medfordhousing.org no laterthan the close of business on Thursday, February 26, 2026.The Medford Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, whole or in part, towaive formalities or irregularities in the bids, and make awards deemed in the best interest of the MHAand the public.AA/EOE
