Notes
The intent of this solicitation is to establish an annual contract for grounds maintenance services, specifically for the medians, rights-of-way (ROW), and concrete triangles across all districts in the City of Arlington (COA). A detailed map of these districts is provided in the scope of work. The selected contractors will be responsible for providing a comprehensive, cost-effective contract for ongoing bi-weekly grounds maintenance services, which will include landscaping, mowing, edging, trimming, tree trimming, litter removal and disposal.
This project aligns with the City of Arlington’s commitment to maintaining clean, safe, and aesthetically pleasing public spaces that reflect community pride and enhance the overall quality of life for residents and visitors. The contractors will be tasked with maintaining these designated public spaces, ensuring they remain well-kept, free from overgrowth and litter, and consistently meet the City’s standards for public beautification.

The City reserves the right to award the contract to a single contractor whose proposal is the best value for the City, or to multiple contractors at the City’s discretion.

The City of Arlington strongly encourages bidders to submit their response to this RFP electronically. If submitting a paper proposal, it must be submitted in a sealed envelope or package and labeled with the company name, solicitation number and title. Late proposals will not be accepted.

The City of Arlington exclusively uses IonWave for the notification and dissemination of all solicitations.
