Project Description: A non-mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting & Walkthrough of existing prototype school is scheduled for December 17th at 5:00 pm.
The Pre-Bid Meeting will be located at: West Gate K-8 School, 1050 NW Cashmere Blvd, Port Saint Lucie, FL 34986.
The project consists of a new 220,000 SF K-8 school on a greenfield site. The work includes: earthwork, underground utilities, paving, play courts, landscape, irrigation, fencing, gates, concrete, masonry, structural steel, roofing, sealants, waterproofing, spray insulation, doors, frames & hardware, overhead doors, windows, gypsum wall board assemblies, acoustical ceilings, acoustical wall panels, resilient flooring, tile flooring, athletic flooring, carpeting, painting, visual display boards, signage, toilet compartments, toilet accessories, lockers, aluminum walkway covers, flagpoles, stage curtains, food service specialties, athletic equipment, modular casework, laboratory casework, telescoping stands, elevator, fire sprinklers, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and low voltage systems.
Sealed Bids in envelopes properly identified with the Project name indicated above are due no later than the date and time prescribed, at the offices of Saint Lucie Public Schools, Attn: Purchasing, 9461 Brandywine Lane, Port Saint Lucie, FL 34986. Bids received after the appointed date and time will be subject to rejection. Bids will only be accepted from Prequalified Firms utilizing the required Form of Proposal included in the Bid Package.
The RFI deadline is December 20, 2024. Please submit RFI’s to comest@whartonsmith.com. Do not contact the Architect or Owner for information on this project. BID DATE: Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at 2:00 PM ET
PROJECT: SLPS Western Groove K-8 Bid Package #2 Early Release / M/WBE Subcontractors & Suppliers are encouraged to participate.
Payment & Performance Bonds may be required.
All bidding subcontractors shall adhere to having all onsite personnel registered with a valid JLA Badge, per Florida Statues 1012.32, 1012.465, 1012.467 & 1012.468. All costs for new employee badging & renewals will be the sole responsibility of the bidding subcontractor.
