Description: Funding for this project is from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) awarded to the City off New Rochelle, an entitlement community, by the United States Department of Housing & Urban Development. Prevailing wages established under the Davis-Bacon Act will apply to this contract. The contract documents will contain requirements addressing prevailing labor wage rates; labor standards; nondiscrimination in hiring practices; goals for minority and female participation; MBE and WBE participation; participation by Section 3 residents and businesses; Build America, Buy America (BABAA) terms; and related matters as specified in the attached CDBG Exhibit. Pages marked must be returned with bid. Each bid must be accompanied by a DEPOSIT in the form certified check, cashier's check or money order, made payable to the CITY OF NEW ROCHELLE, NEW YORK, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid price (CASH WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED). The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
