Description: The bid is to be an annual per acre amount for approximately 115 acres of crop land located in the NE ¼ Section 8-T110N-R49W Aurora Township, Brookings County as shown on the attached map.  The parcel shall be used only for cropland purposes, Livestock will not be allowed. NOTE: Starting Year 2 of the contract (January 1, 2027), the per acre price shall increase by 2% each year through the term of the contract. The Farmland on the North end of the Brookings Regional Landfill property will be rented for a period of five (5) years, effective January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2030, to the highest responsive and responsible bidder. Miscellaneous: Bids may not be withdrawn within thirty (30) days after the actual opening thereof. Action on the bids will occur within 30 days of the bid opening. The City of Brookings reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any and all bids.
