Description: The Nantucket Islands Land Bank (“Land Bank”), the awarding authority, through its Commission, invites qualified bidders to submit bids to provide labor, equipment, and necessary supervision required to safely and efficiently masticate the approximately 43-acre understory at Hinsdale Park to a fine mulch to reduce the fuel load and ladder fuels, and to set the stage for future thinning of the pitch pine overstory. The understory consists mainly of scrub oak with other shrubby species and dog hair pitch pine.
