Overview

Summary

The Board of Commissioners of Charles County are seeking bids from qualified contractors for demolition services of 4 independent structures in the Town of La Plata, MD. The demolition shall include removal of all above ground and below ground components. The sites shall be backfilled with suitable materials and graded to achieve a minimum of 2% positive drainage. The site shall be stabilized and seeded.

Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting & Site Visit (Mandatory):

September 10, 2025, 11:00am

The mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit will occur in person only. The pre-bid meeting is mandatory in order to be eligible to respond to this solicitation.
Meeting shall commence at 206 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. No alternate opportunities to attend will be offered. Parking is available at the County Courthouse at 200 Charles Street, La Plata, MD. Site is located across Washington Ave.

Attendees will be required to sign the attendance roster, which will be published on the County's eProcurement Portal.

Question Submission Deadline:

September 16, 2025, 12:00pm

Questions shall be submitted via the eProcurement Portal Question & Answer feature prior to the due date and time specified. The County will not provide responses to questions received after the deadline.

Bid Opening Registration Deadline:

September 29, 2025, 12:00pm

Registration is required to attend the bid opening. Bidders interested in participating in the bid opening must register electronically via the County's eProcurement Portal RSVP Manager. Pricing will be available on the eProcurement Portal after the Bid Opening.

Bid Submission Deadline:
