Description:	A firm must have the ability to assemble and implement a detailed construction plan that will effectively meet the disinfection needs of the wastewater treatment facility. The project will include the preparation of supporting documentation, seeking and obtaining permits and approvals, design, and preparation of plans, specifications, and bidding documentation which follow City of La Crosse standards. Specific projects requirements may include, but are not limited to, the following:  Creation of alternatives analysis – features for comparison shall include, but are not limited to: o Capacity o Cost (capital and operational) o Design Life o Warranty o Lead Times o Physical Size/Footprint o Hydraulic Restrictions o Any manufacturer-specific features of note o Impact to electrical system  Procurement of state and federal grant funding  Construction cost estimate and schedule  Determination of permitting requirements  Existing building footprint must be maintained  Must evaluate constructability within existing channels  UV Disinfection system must meet Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR) disinfection requirements
