Description

Nebraska Public Power District (DISTRICT) intends to procure helicopter services and all other necessary labor and equipment for the removal of the overhead shield wire (OHSW) suspension insulators and hardware at 303 structure locations, removal and replacement of OHSW dead-end hardware at 15 structure locations, and aerial number replacements at 324 structure locations. These services shall be performed on one (1) 345kV Transmission Line (TL). TL 3510 is a single circuit 345kV line constructed with lattice towers, located between the DISTRICT’S Keystone Substation and the Missouri Basin Power Project Substation.

A non-mandatory pre bid Microsoft Teams meeting for prospective Bidders will be held at 10:00 a.m. CDT, on April 22, 2026. The purpose of the meeting will be to review the Contract specifications and to answer any questions or clarifications the Bidder may have concerning the Contract requirements. It is the Bidder’s responsibility, while participating in the meeting, to ask any questions necessary to understand the requirements of the Contract so the Bidder can submit a bid that is complete and according to the specifications. It is highly encouraged that all prospective Bidders participate in this meeting.
