Scope of Services
The intent of this bid is to secure firm fixed pricing for the direct purchase and delivery of cafeteria uniforms to various sites throughout the School District of Osceola County, FL on an as needed basis. The performance of awarded Bidders shall be in accordance with the terms of the specifications and at the quality standards of service set forth herein. The School Board reserves the right to make an award on an all or none basis or to award multiple bidders, whichever is determined to be in the best interest if the District. The School Nutrition Department and the Culinary Programs has identified specific uniforms items to be used with no customization service. A balance of product line is expected to support items not explicitly listed, ensuring flexibility for all participating programs. A. EQUIVALENTS, DESCRIPTIVE MATERIAL, AND SAMPLES
1. Descriptive Material
Bidder(s) must provide descriptive literature and/or cut sheets for any item offered as an equivalent to the preferred brand and model. The specifications contained in this ITB are not exclusive of the preferred brand and model. By including our preferred brand and model, the District is not limiting competition, but rather establishing a point of reference based on the current model in use Descriptive literature and/or cut sheets for any product offered as an equivalent must include, but are not limited to, the same information required in Section 2.0, subsections B and C of this ITB. Documentation must clearly demonstrate that the proposed equivalent meets or exceeds all specifications outlined in the ITB. Equivalents submitted without supporting descriptive material or without the complete necessary information will not be considered. Products covered as balance of product line must be available through a catalog, online website or an online catalog that shows pricing. 2. Size and Color Charts
A complete size and color chart must be included with the bid submittal for all items offered. Sizes and colors required by the School Board are outlined in the specifications below. 3. Samples
At this time, samples are not being requested. Should samples be required, bidder(s) shall deliver them within four (4) business days of the request, failure to deliver within this timeframe will result in being deem non responsible. If required, all samples must be furnished at no expense to the School Board, and detailed instructions for submission will be provided by the Procurement Department. Request return samples must be made within twenty (20) business days following samples request notice and will be returned at bidder’s expense. If request to return samples is not received within twenty (20) business days of samples request notice, samples will be considered the property of the School Board. B. SCHOOL NUTRITION DEPARTMENT
