North York Islands - Electrical Improvements

Sealed bids to complete all work required for the North York Islands - Electrical Improvements, will be received by the City of Elmhurst, DuPage County, Illinois until 10:00 a.m.,(Central Daylight Savings Time) on Tuesday, September 30, 2025.  Thereafter or as soon as thereafter is practicable, all bids received will be publicly opened and the bid prices read aloud.  Sealed envelopes or packages containing bids shall be addressed to the Office of the City Clerk, Elmhurst City Hall, 209 N. York Street, Elmhurst, Illinois 60126, and shall be marked “Sealed Bid – North York Islands – Electrical Improvements.”

The work in general shall consist of the installation of power from an existing street light controller to the center median island of North York Road in four (4) locations.  This work will include the installation of a step down transformer, ground fault breakers in an existing controller, boring of conduit and wire outlets within the center island, traffic control and all other related work.  Work is anticipated to commence in November and the contract Shall be completed by the end of December 2025.
