Chemical Treatment on Greenways & Natural Lands Properties for Invasive, non-native plant species with the goal of achieving a maintenance control level of occurrence.

Treatments will be performed at the following locations:

  • Spring Hammock Preserve (Soldiers Creek Park Section) - 2400 State Road 419 Longwood, FL 32750

Background

Non-native, invasive plant species affect the health, productivity, accessibility, use, management and quality of our Natural habitats. Invasive plants decrease biodiversity and wilflife habitat. If left uncontrolled they can destroy ecosystems, limit wildlife habitat, agriculture, cultivated landscapes, hunting, fishing, boating, camping, and swimming.
