FERTILIZER FOR LAND APPLICATION SITES

The City of Sandersville is seeking bids from qualified suppliers for the supply and application of fertilizer on land application sites. For bid packages and questions, please contact Travis Fort, Purchasing Agent at (478) 552-2525.

Deadline to submit bids will be Tuesday, February 3rd, 2026 at 3:00 PM at which time the bid opening will take place – City Hall, 141 West Haynes Street, Sandersville, GA 31082.

All bids must be in a sealed envelope clearly marked “2026 Fertilizer Bid”.

The City of Sandersville reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bidsand act in the best interest of the City of Sandersville.

Closing for opportunity 2026-01 shall be Tuesday, February 3, 2026.

REQUEST FOR BIDS

FERTILIZER FOR LAND APPLICATION SITES

2026-01

The City of Sandersville is seeking bids from qualified suppliers for the purchase of the following

services:

T-Sites:

• (Nitrogen) 34,100 units N as S25 with Excelis or Agrotain applied at the rate of 60-70 units

per acre 4 times.

• (Phosphate) 6,798 units P applied at the rate of 40 to 70 units per acre depending

on the specific field requirements.

• (Potassium) 24,296 units K applied at the rate of 40 to 100 units per acre depending on

the specific field requirements.

(Lime) 56 tons of lime applied at the rate of 0.5 to 1.25 tons per acre depending on the specific

fieldrequirements.

H-Sites:

• (Lime) 40 tons applied in February.

• (Potash) 6.75 tons applied in 2 applications Early spring and Mid-Summer.

• (Nitrogen) 14.5 tons with S-25 100 units per application total of 3 applications.

**Invitation to bid does not bind the City of Sandersville or the Public Works Office to

purchase the items described. The City of Sandersville will reserve the right to accept or

reject any bids and act in the best interest of the City of Sandersville. **

BID REQUIREMENTS:

1. The bid must be submitted prior to bid deadline of Tuesday, February 3rd, 2025 at 3:00pm

- at which time a bid opening will take place at Sandersville City Hall, 141 W. Haynes Street,

Sandersville, GA 31082.

2. Three (3) copies of the bid shall be delivered in a sealed envelope clearly marked
