The Minnesota Department of Commerce intends to purchase annual membership in NASCUS – National Association of State Credit Union Supervisors. NASCUS is the national trade association of state-charted credit union supervisors, and it is the only organization exclusively dedicated to defending and advancing a strong state credit union system. NASCUS membership is comprised of state regulatory agencies, credit unions, credit union leagues and state credit union supporting organizations. Its mission is to enhance state credit union supervision and advocate for a safe and sound credit union system. NASCUS administers our agency’s five-year accreditation and represents the interest of state agencies before Congress and is a liaison to federal agencies.
