NEW ORLEANS HOUSING INVESTMENT PROGRAM (NOHIP)

REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS TO DEVELOP SINGLE-FAMILY HOMES ON SCATTERED SITES ON BEHALF OF THE NEW ORLEANS REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY AND NEW ORLEANS REDEVELOPMENT UNLIMITED, INC.

The New Orleans Redevelopment Authority (NORA) and New Orleans Redevelopment Unlimited, Inc. (NORU) are requesting applications from developers seeking to purchase lots owned by NORA and seeking financing from NORU to support the redevelopment of those properties.

An informational meeting will be held online via Zoom, on Tuesday, July 22, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. (CDT).  Respondents are encouraged to attend this meeting, during which time NORA staff will discuss the application process, review program requirements, and answer questions.

Applicants are required to register and complete the full application electronically through NORA’s grants management software system.  NORA will not accept hard copy submissions at this time.

The application period opens on Monday, July 6, 2026. All applications must be submitted electronically through NORA’s WebGrants Portal no later than THURSDAY,AUGUST 6, 2026, at4:00 P.M. (CDT).
