This Addendum of clarifications, modifications, changes, additions, and/or deletions containedherein shall be considered part of the Bid Documents for the above referenced Project asthough it had been issued at the same time and shall be incorporated integrally with theConstruction Documents for the project. Where provisions of the following supplementarydata differ from those of the Original Bid Documents, this Addendum shall govern and takeprecedence.B. Bidders are hereby notified that they shall make any adjustments in their estimates as aresult of this Addendum. It will be understood that each bidder's proposal is submitted withfull knowledge of all modifications and supplemental data specified herein.1. CHANGES AND ADDITIONS TO THE BID DOCUMENTSSPECIFICATIONS:Item No. 2.01 Section 01 64 00 OWNER-FURNISHED PRODUCTSsub-section 2.02 FURNISHED MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT - REVISEDItem No. 2.02 Section 2.4.6 in the PLA covers specialized – See attached exhibit HItem No. 2.03 Federal Byrd anti-lobbying is not required for this project.Item No. 2.04 AV Systems: The Sure SLXD1 and SLXD2 have been replaced by theSLXD1+ and the SLXD2+, respectively, by the manufacturer.Cesar Chavez Theatre RenovationAddendum 1Page 1 of 1DOCUMENT 01 64 00OWNER-FURNISHED PRODUCTSPART 1 – GENERAL1.01 RELATED DOCUMENTS AND PROVISIONSAll Contract Documents should be reviewed for applicable provisions related to theprovisions in this document, including without limitation:A.General Conditions;B.Special Conditions; andC. Materials and Equipment.1.02 SECTION INCLUDESA.Requirements for the following:(1) Installing Owner-furnished materials and equipment.(2) Providing necessary utilities, connections and rough-ins.1.03 DEFINITIONSA.Owner: District, who is providing/furnishing materials and equipment.B.Installing Contactor: Contractor, who is installing the materials andequipment furnished by the Owner.1.04 PRODUCT DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLINGA.Receive, store and handle products in accordance with the manufacturer’sinstructions.B.Protect equipment items as required to prevent damage during storage andconstruction.PART 2 – PRODUCTS2.01 GENERAL PRODUCT REQUIREMENTSA.Installing Contractor’s Responsibilities:(1) Verify mounting and utility requirements for Owner-furnished materialsand equipment items.(2) Provide mounting and utility rough in for all items where required.STOCKTON UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICTOWNER-FURNISHED PRODUCTSDOCUMENT 01 64 00-1(a) Rough in locations, sizes, capacities, and similar type itemsshall be as indicated and required by product manufacturer.B.Owner and Installing Contractor(s) Responsibilities:(1) Owner-Furnished/Contractor Installed (“OFCI”): Furnished by theOwner; installed by the Installing Contractor.(a) General: Owner and Installing Contractor(s) will coordinatedeliveries of materials and equipment to coincide with theconstruction schedule.(b) Owner will furnish specified materials and equipment deliveredto the site. Owner/vendor’s representative shall be present onSite at the time of delivery to comply with the contractrequirements and Specifications Section 01 43 00, Materialsand Equipment, Article 1.04.(c) The Owner furnishing specified materials and equipment isresponsible to provide manufacturer guarantees as required bythe Contract to the Installing Contractor.(d) The Installing Contractor shall:1) Review, verify and accept the approved manufacturer’ssubmittal/Shop Drawings for all materials andequipment required to be installed by the InstallerContractor and furnished by the Owner. Anydiscrepancies, including but not limited to possible spaceconflicts, should be brought to the attention of theProject Manager and/or Program Manager, if applicable.2) Coordinate timely delivery. Installing Contractor shallreceive materials and equipment at Site when deliveredand give written receipt at time of delivery, notingvisible defects or omissions; if such declaration is notgiven, the Installing Contractor shall assumeresponsibility for such defects and omissions.3) Store materials and equipment until ready forinstallation and protect from loss and damage.Installing Contractor is responsible for providingadequate storage space.4) Coordinate with other bid package contractors and fieldmeasurement to ensure complete installation.5) Uncrate, assemble, and set in place.6) Provide adequate supports.7) Install materials and equipment in accordance withmanufacturer’s recommendations, instructions, andSTOCKTON UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICTOWNER-FURNISHED PRODUCTSDOCUMENT 01 64 00-2Shop Drawings, supply labor and material required, andmake mechanical, plumbing, and electrical connectionsrequired to operate equipment.8) Be certified by equipment manufacturer for installationof the specific equipment supplied by the Owner.9) Provide anchorage and/or bracing as required forseismic restraint per Title 24, UBC Standard 27-11 andall other applicable codes.10) Provide the contract-required warranty and guaranteefor all work, materials and equipment, and installationupon its completion and acceptance by the District.Guarantee includes all costs associated with theremoval, shipping to and from the Site, and re-installation of any equipment found to be defective.C. Compatibility with Space and Service Requirements:(1) Equipment items shall be compatible with space limitations indicatedand as shown on the Contract Documents and specified in othersections of the Specifications.(2) Modifications to equipment items required to conform to spacelimitations specified for rough in shall not cause additional cost to theDistrict.D. Manufacturer’s printed descriptions, specifications, and instructions shallgovern the Work unless specifically indicated or specified otherwise.2.02 FURNISHED MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENTA.All furnished materials and equipment are indicated or scheduled on theContract Documents.B.Products listed in the following sections shall be Owner Furnished ContractorInstalled (OFCI):(1) 11 06 40 Theatrical Lighting Control(2) 11 06 50 Theatrical Lighting Fixtures(3) AV Speakers and controls listed on the AV drawingsC. Products listed in the following sections shall be Owner Furnished OwnerInstalled (OFOI):(1) 11 06 10 Theatrical Rigging Systems and Controls(2) 11 06 60 Stage Lift(3) 14 42 16 Inclined Platform Wheelchair LiftD. Products listed in the following sections shall be Owner Furnished RiggingContractor Installed (OFRCI):STOCKTON UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICTOWNER-FURNISHED PRODUCTSDOCUMENT 01 64 00-3(1) 11 06 20 Theatrical Drapery and Tracka. Owner to provide draperyb. Make electrical and mechanical connections as indicated and required.D.
