Pursuant to Section 3-05 of the New York City Procurement Policy Board Rules, the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) intends to enter into negotiations for a six-year agreement with ADAPCO LLC for the purchase of larvicide mosquito control products. These products are essential for DOHMH's Division of Environmental Health to conduct services to reduce the risk of mosquito spreading diseases (West Nile, Zika and other mosquito-borne diseases). Valent BioSciences Corporation is the sole manufacturer and registrant of the trademark product brands VectoBac, VectoLex, VectoMax, and VectoPrime, which are used to control immature mosquitoes in aquatic habitats such as catch basins, marshes, and standing water. DOHMH determined that ADAPCO, LLC is Valent BioSciences LLC's sole authorized distributor for VectoBac®, VectoLex®, VectoMax®, Bactimos®, VectoPrime®, MetaLarv®, and ReMoa Tri products. Any firm that believes it can legally provide these goods is invited to submit an Expression of Interest directly to this RFI- EPIN 8 1626Y0811 no later than 4/2/2026 by 2:00PM.
