Category: Construction Status: Open Description: NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed proposals will be received by the Clerk’s Office, for the Township of Livingston, County of Essex, State of New Jersey on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, 11:00 AM prevailing time at 357 South Livingston Avenue, Livingston, New Jersey at which time and place proposals will be opened in the Council Chambers and publicly read for:
BID NO. 17-2024 WATER POLLUTION CONTROL FACILITY SECONDARY SETTLING TANK NO. 4 SKIMMER REPLACEMENT (PHASE I)
Sealed bids for the above named Contract, which comprises the removal and replacement of the existing skimmers, gears, flights, drives, scum collectors and all associated electrical work in Secondary Settling Tank No. 4 at the Water Pollution Control Facility.
The work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work as shown on the Drawings and as described in the Specifications. The work consists of the removal and replacement of existing skimmers, gears, flights, drives, scum collectors and all associated electrical work in Secondary Settling Tank No. 4. The work is located at the Water Pollution Control Facility at 81 Naylon Avenue, Livingston, NJ 07039 within the Township of Livingston and includes: site work, demolition work, general construction, and electrical work. The work shall be completed within 360 calendar days of the Contractor's receipt of written Notice to Proceed.
Bid documents and specifications can be downloaded for no charge online (upon registration). Specifications and other information may be obtained on October 10, 2024. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of NJSA 10:5-31 et seq. and NJAC 17:27-1 et seq.
