Bid Title:	2025 Traffic Signal, Pedestrian, & School Flashers - Co-Op

Description: Directions to download documents - on the Bid Posting website click on bid specialty and bid title. At bottom left side of description click “View Documents” and register.  After registering, you may download documents from bottom left side of page.   Registered vendors will receive any/all addenda/clarifications, etc. if issued. It is imperative that all registration information be entered correctly to ensure any/all addenda will be received. The The Township of Cherry Hill hereafter referred to as the Township, requires the emergency services of qualified personnel, hereafter known as the Contractor, to ensure the safe operation of the Township’s Traffic Signal System equipment, hereafter known as the System.   The System equipment to be repaired/replaced on an emergency basis consists of, but is not limited to: traffic signal control equipment and cabinets; inductive loop detection; video, radar and microwave detection; signal poles and mast arms; vehicular and pedestrian signal heads; pedestrian push buttons; cables; interconnect of various types; leased telephone communication connections; OPTICOM emergency pre-emption equipment with related equipment; solar speed signs located at various locations throughout the Township and emergency automatic generator switches. The Emergency Response, Signal Modifications, and Miscellaneous Electric Service of the System shall be known as the Base Bid. Please also note that the Township is incorporating in this bid/specification package, as Option #1, the Maintenance and Inspection for the System equipment. Services for the Maintenance and Inspection shall be described under “Section 4” of the Scope of Services. The Township has the right to award the Base Bid or the Base Bid plus Option #1. A list of signalized intersections and miscellaneous devices such as flashing beacons is shown in Attachment A. As new signalized intersections are constructed in the Township and added to the System, they too shall be included in the scope of services, provided by the Contractor, at agreed contract pricing. Lead Agency – Township of Chery Hill – EXHIBIT 1 This bid is also being made available to the members of the Chery Hill Cooperative Pricing System Identifier #37-CHCPS and have agreed to participate as follows: COOPERATIVE PARTICIPATING MEMBERS : Berlin Township                                   Clementon Borough Gibbsboro Borough                              Haddon Township Lindenwold Borough                           Merchantville Borough Pennsauken Township                          Somerdale Borough Stratford Borough                                Voorhees Township Winslow Township Each member has included in this specification a list of traffic signals and school flashers. If the responding vendor is willing to extend pricing to the above listed registered members of the cooperative, unit pricing will be uniform for all members. If the responding vendor is not willing to extend pricing to the above members, it is understood that this will NOT adversely affect consideration of this bid in respect to the need of the Township of Cherry Hill as Lead Agency.
