Additional Alternate parks noted (full ballfield renovations, 2 fields). American Sports Builder Field Builder Certification (CFB) held by prime Contractor.2. This policy applies to construction contracting.The City’s Finance Department has reviewed this proposed project and establishedUnderutilized Business Enterprise (UBE) participation goals:Minority Business Enterprise (MUBE) 0%Woman Business Enterprise (WUBE) 0%OWNER’S RESPONSIBILITIESThe Contractor may rely upon the Owner to:• Provide access to City property and park areas as necessary,• Review material submittals in a timely fashion,• Hold a Pre-Construction on site with Contractor to determine staging areas andaccess points,• Provide signage for park users regarding the maintenance closure,• Inspection of work, close out punch list communication, and payment per contractstipulations.PROJECT CONDITIONS1. Field Verify: Contractor shall field verify all measurements at start of contract to verifyOwner-provided material estimates.2. Site Preparation: Contractor to provide whatever means necessary to protect all existingfeatures scheduled to remain within the project area including existing structures, lightpoles, underground conduit/wires, irrigation, walkways and drives, guard rails, gates,signage, grass, trees, and vegetation, parking lots, and driveways. Damage will berepaired or replaced at the Contractor’s expense. It is the Contractor’s responsibility todocument existing conditions in the event of a damage claim by the facility users or theOwner.3. Pre-Construction Meeting: Contractor and Owner’s Representatives shall meet at eachproject site and review Scope of Work, construction logistics, staging areas, and identifyany foreseeable concerns.5
