SOUTHCOAST REGION - DESIGN AND ENGINEERING SERVICES

CONSTRUCTION INVITATION TO BIDS (ITB’s)

Sealed bids in single copy for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment, and performing all work on Project No. 0003285/SFHWY00451; JNU Pt. Stephens Culvert, described herein, will be received until 2:00 p.m. prevailing time June 23, 2026, at the Construction Contracts Office, 1st Floor, 6860 Glacier Highway, Juneau, Alaska.

This Federal State funded project will consist of The project shall characterize all water catchment areas that influence the conveyance of surface water and evaluate the location, geometry and conveyance capacity of existing DOT hydraulic structures. These engineering evaluations will be used to appropriately design hydraulic structures and revise existing hydraulic features which are needed to convey surface waters through DOT infrastructure. This may include the replacement and relocation of DOT culvert structures and the refurbishment of ditches.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. All work shall be completed by August 31, 2027. This is a Race Neutral project as defined in Section 120 of the Specifications.

Bidding Documents are available for inspection at the office of the Regional Department of Transportation and Public Facilities offices in Anchorage, Fairbanks and Juneau.
