Summary The Ohio Department of Public Safety / Ohio Investigtive Unit is soliciting dealers for the purchase and installation of a woven wire security cage at the OIU Maumee Facility. Address: Ohio Investigative Unit 1722 Indian Wood Circle Maumee, OH 43537 Awarded bidder is expected to provide a finished product no later than August 1, 2026. Bidders are responsible for reviewing all attached solicitation documents. The Contract Sample & Specifications includes project details and should be reviewed in whole prior to bidding. The State reserves the right to request Descriptive Literature of the supplies or services being offered in the bid response. If requested, the Descriptive Literature will be made a part of the bid evaluation process.	Predecessor Contract
Process CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY See attached (ad hoc) solicitation document/contract draft for specifications, requirements, terms and conditions.  If selected, bidder shall execute contract document (items in red will be changed prior to award). INVITATION TO BID INSTRUCTIONS Instructions, Terms and Conditions for Bidding (revised 01/29/26, attached) apply to this solicitation. STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS The State of Ohio Standard Terms and Conditions (revised 03/31/25, attached)  apply to this solicitation and will govern any resulting Contract. EVALUATION: Bids will be evaluated in accordance with ORC 125.07. In addition, the state will multiply the bid prices by the estimated usage listed in the bid and then adding each of the totals together to arrive at a total for all items. PDF Quote must be included in bid. Failure to quote all items or provide PDF Quote with 60-90 day price-validity may deem the quote non-responsive . The State will not be responsible for any costs not otherwise specified. Inquiries must be submitted through the OhioBuys Inquiry Field. CONTRACT AWARD: The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive bidder by low lot total. The low lot total will be determined by multiplying the unit prices by the estimated usage listed in the bid and then adding each of the totals together to arrive at a total for all items. Failure to bid all items may result in the bidder being deemed not responsive. DESCRIPTIVE LITERATURE: The Bidder may be required to submit descriptive literature of the supplies or services being offered. If requested, the literature will be used in the evaluation process to determine the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. If not provided as part of the bid response, the Bidder must provide said literature within seven calendar days after request/notification by the Office of Procurement Services to do so. Failure of the bidder to furnish descriptive literature either as part of their bid response or within the time specified herein may deem the bidder not responsive.
