It shall be the responsibility ofinterested Offerors to adhere to any changes or revisions to the IFB as identified in this AddendumNo. 1. This documentation shall become permanent and made part of the departmental files.IFB Questions and AnswersQuestion No. 1:We are currently participating in the NMSPA for Parts and Service. Will thiscontract suffice for this purpose?Answer No. 1:Santa Fe County is procuring multiple contracts for automotive parts, equipment, tires and miscellaneous supplies for County Public Works andFire Departments. Although the county may utilize NMSPA contracts forthese services, it would be in best interest of the county to have the capacityto purchase these items from vendors who may not participate in a StatewidePrice agreement or other cooperative agreement.Question No. 2:While it is not specifically referenced in the contract title, it appears thatmechanical repair services are included within the scope of items to be bid.Can you please confirm whether there is a separate contract for mechanicalrepairs, or if this is the only contract under which we are required to submitbids for those services?102 Grant Avenue · P.O. Box 276 · Santa Fe, New Mexico 87504-0276 · 505-986-6200 · FAX:505-995-2740 www.santafecountynm.govAnswer No. 2:There is not a separate contract for mechanical repairs. IFB No. 2026-0350-PW includes mechanical repairs within the IFB scope of items to bid.Question No. 3:Answer No. 3:Is specialized heavy equipment included in this IFB? Example streetsweepers, combination sewer/catch basin equipment? If so, would our laborrates go in the section 6 heavy duty labor column?Yes, specialized heavy equipment is included within the IFB, both PublicWorks and the Fire Department have items that are considered heavyequipment that may need labor repair and/or parts. For example: tandems, tractors, loaders, backhoes, firetrucks, ambulances, and all fire apparatuses. To answer the second part of the question – yes, labor rates for heavy dutyequipment would get listed under SECTION 6: LABOR Item 66 Heavy DutyRepair (Hourly Rate). Please add this Addendum No. 1 to the original proposal documents and refer to proposal documents, hereto as such. This and all subsequent addenda will become part of any resulting contract documentsand have effects as if original issued.
